Reduction of state dependent sweeping process to unconstrained differential inclusion

چکیده
In this articlewe discuss the differential inclusion known as state dependent sweeping process for a class of prox-regular non-convex sets.We associate with any state dependent sweeping process with such sets an unconstraint differential inclusion whose any solution is a solution of the state sweeping process too. We prove a theorem on the existence of a global solution of nonconvex state dependent sweeping process with unbounded perturbations. The perturbations are not required to be convex valued.

Discrete Approximations of a Controlled Sweeping Process
The paper is devoted to the study of a new class of optimal control problems governed by the classical Moreau sweeping process with the new feature that the polyhedral moving set is not fixed while controlled by time-dependent functions. The dynamics of such problems is described by dissipative non-Lipschitzian differential inclusions with state constraints of equality and inequality types. It ...

متن کاملHigher order Moreau's sweeping process: mathematical formulation and numerical simulation
In this paper we present an extension of Moreau’s sweeping process for higher order systems. The dynamical framework is carefully introduced, qualitative, dissipativity, stability, existence, regularity and uniqueness results are given. The time-discretization of these nonsmooth systems with a timestepping algorithm is also presented. This differential inclusion can be seen as a mathematical fo...
متن کاملAn overview of Non Smooth Dynamical Systems. Higher order Moreau’s sweeping process, numerical methods and links with Optimization
The Non Smooth Dynamical Systems (NSDS) are a very special kind of dynamical systems characterized by their nonsmoothness in the evolution with respect to time and by a set of non smooth generalized equations. The so-called Moreau’s Sweeping Process[9, 10] is a special kind of differential inclusion with a maximal monotone operator[5] which appears to be a very nice formulation for the unilater...
متن کاملNumerical scheme for first order differential inclusions
The aim of this paper is to study a whole class of first order differential inclusions, which fit into the framework of perturbed sweeping process by a uniformly prox-regular set. After obtaining well-posedness results, we propose a numerical scheme based on a predictioncorrection algorithm and we prove its convergence. Finally we apply these results to a problem coming from modelling of crowd ...
